A harrowing tale of family, grief, and love unfolds as Laika Studios releases the official final trailer for their upcoming film Wildwood. View trailer below.

Prue McKeel and her classmate Curtis Mehlberg are drawn into a hidden magical forest near Portland in an attempt to save Prue’s kidnapped infant brother Mac from the crows, who are led by a mysterious woman named Alexandra.

I am so excited to see this movie. Of course, the animation is absolutely gorgeous, but the film’s story (from what I can piece together) looks quite promising. This new trailer looks pretty good with plenty of new footage showcased throughout its runtime. However, I do have to say that I liked the previous trailer more than this one. Nevertheless, I do welcome this final trailer for the upcoming film. All in all, I can’t wait to see what Laika does with this tale and what Wildwood will deliver.

Wildwood  arrives in theaters on October 23^rd, 2026
